Anita Piereman died on August 17,2012 surrounded by family. She was 88.She was preceded by her husband of 66 years Robert C. Piereman. Anita was a devoted wife, mother, sister and aunt.She worked at Saint Joseph's hospital for 30 years and retired when she was 80.She loved artistic elements such as calligraphy,ceramics and painting.She also knitted and crocheted family and friends sweaters. She was born in Scarbro, West Virginia in 1924.She is survived by her only child Theresa Anderson(Crumpton).Her sister Dorothy Smith(Bud) .Her in-laws Ora Sturgill(Gene-deceased), Barbara Joran(Louis-deceased), Harry Piereman(Marlene), Antoinett Gribbon(Edward),Jenny Piereman(James-deceased),Josephine Massey (Lake).She has many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Dr. Charles and the staff at Gilchrist Hospice for their loving care and end of life touch.

A memorial service will be held at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, 2800 Old Westminster Pike, Finksburg, Md. at 11am, Tuesday, August 28,2012.
